Overview
Umami is a privacy-focused analytics platform. Scout sends events to Umami for pageview and conversion tracking without cookies or personal data collection. Ideal for GDPR/KVKK compliance.
Scout sends events to Umami's Track API with website ID and session data. No cookies or personal data are required. Events are processed as custom events in Umami dashboards.

Scout events are sent to Umami as custom events:
Privacy and Compliance
Umami does not use cookies or collect PII. Scout sends only event names, URLs, referrers, and device info. No email, phone, or user identifiers are transmitted. Fully GDPR and KVKK compliant.
Self-Hosted Support
Scout supports both Umami Cloud and self-hosted instances. Configure your Umami host URL in the destination settings. Data never leaves your infrastructure with self-hosted setups.
Troubleshooting
Events not appearing in Umami
Verify Website ID and host URL. Check that the Umami instance allows API tracking (DISABLE_TELEMETRY setting).
Custom events not showing
Ensure Umami version supports custom events (v2+). Custom events appear under Events tab in the Umami dashboard.
